The audience of 10 where I sat was blown away. Here we were at the Camp Langano meeting hall asking, how did God ever bring these two guys to this training together? The thing is, *David was a cop in Addis, and *Peter was a gang leader also in Addis in a gang that killed many people. For six years David was searching for Peter to arrest him, maybe even worse. Just a few weeks ago they got in the van to come to our leadership training in Langano not realizing that both of them had found the Lord and not even recognizing each other during the entire four-hour van ride. Upon arrival we did introductions, played some games and ice breakers and eventually they recognized each other! In their past they were enemies who would have done harm if they came into contact with one another. Just a few weeks ago they stood together on the stage at Camp Langano and gave their testimonies of what God has done in their lives. Now they want to use sport as a tool to bring others to Christ and have completed our first level of training.
