$50 provides a sports ministry leader with a new sports ball and 10 Bibles to share with youth on his team.

$50 also sends a young person to camp – an experience of a lifetime!

$2,500 covers the cost of a three-day conference for 100 sports ministers (allowing you to impact thousands of youth who will be touched by the ministries of these sports ministers).

$3,000 provides salary and budget support for a denominational sports ministry leader supervising the development of sports ministry programs in up to 100 local churches.

$50,000 builds a new cabin at Camp Langano which will house 36 people.

Sports Friends Ethiopia

Total project cost: $1.6 million

This project covers the ministry expenses of our Ethiopia regional hub for the 5-year period 2008 through 2012. Major costs include wages and benefits for our regional staff, training conferences, ministry materials, sports equipment, camp scholarships, salary and budget support for denominational sports ministry leaders, travel, and typical operating expenses.

Camp Langano – Facilities Development

Total project cost: $1.1 million

This project provides for the development of additional facilities at Camp Langano to accommodate up to 150 campers. Planned facility additions include three camper cabins, bath house, dining hall, gymnasium, missionary/staff housing, and power and water system upgrades.  More information and a down-loadable project funding proposal can be found in Sports Friends Materials.

Sports Friends Nigeria

Total project cost: $ 0.5 million

This project covers the ministry expenses of our Nigeria regional hub for the 3-year period 2007 through 2009. Major costs include wages and benefits for our regional staff, training conferences, ministry materials, sports equipment, camp scholarships, salary and budget support for denominational sports ministry leaders, travel, and typical operating expenses.

Sports Friends - Multi-Country Development

Total project cost: $ 1.4 million

This project covers the same types of ministry expenses mentioned above for Sports Friends’ expansion in Africa and Asia for the five years 2008 - 2012. In addition, this project provides funding for Sports Friends’ international travel, recruiting, church and donor mobilization, communications and other support functions.
